Xiaomin Niu, MD (Medical Oncology)

Dr. Xiaomin Niu graduated from Medical College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Niu completed her M.D. training with Prof. Shun Lu at Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2009, and finished her clinical medical oncological training as a visiting student researcher at Stanford Cancer Center with Prof. Heather Wakelee for one year and a half in 2016. Dr. Niu has successfully won 17th International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) International Mentorship Award in 2016, studying with Prof. Fiona Blackhall (The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, U.K.).

Dr. Niu is interested in the multidisciplinary treatment of lung cancer and other thoracic malignancies, and meanwhile interested in the genetic researches for lung cancer. Dr. Niu has published some scientific papers, and is responsible for some grants in national and municipal level as the first principal investigator, including National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). At the same time, Dr. Niu attends some large global open-label, multi-center clinical trials in Shanghai Chest Hospital.
